Typedia has just launched, ‘a shared encyclopedia…to classify, categorise, and connect typefaces’. Also see the articles ‘Introducing Typedia’ from the creator, Jason Santa Maria and ‘Behind the Typedia Logo Design’ from John Langdon.

Last week Jeffrey Veen announced Typekit. This is great news as Andy Clarke says ‘Typekit will save everything’. I’m also intrigued about Richard Rutter’s comment about a Clearleft announcement this week.
Following the Fluid Grids article on ALA, The Unstoppable Robot Ninja (Ethan Marcotte) has been developing a technique for Fluid Images. Great work, I’ll definitely be giving this a go, watch this space.
A List Apart have now published their findings from the Web Design Survey, 2008. You might also want to check out Eric Meyer on publishing the results as HTML+CSS.

Mark Boulton’s much anticipated book ‘Designing for the Web’ was released last week and just in case you havn’t heard, it’s outstanding. You can download the book as PDF from fivesimplesteps.co.uk.
